Amani is a non-profit organization fervently committed to solve society’s problems that is to say family division caused by the financial hardships faced by single mothers in Uganda:
Founded by a powerful partnership between an Ivy League-educated Neuropsychologist,and a devoted local Ugandan woman, teacher, and mother to every disadvantaged child, Dorothy, The Amani Foundation stands as a beacon of hope and transformation for vulnerable families and disadvantaged communities.

About Dorothy Ndagire
Dorothy, a remarkable figure who dedicated her life to nurturing and educating children in her village, joins hands with her co-founder to play different yet equally vital roles in the upbringing of these children. While Dorothy offers the motherly love and nurture these children need, Maya steps in as a beacon of hope and promise of a bright future, bringing her academic expertise and elderly sister advice and love.

IN 2020 Uganda and the whole world was a broken place in the midst of Covid. Amani is as launched to Tackle the toughest challenges creating a world where all people can thrive and belong.For years we have been meeting the greatest needs wherever we find them

More 5000 families were feed.

Maya introduced an online learning and provided resources. Laptops and Computers were provided

More than 800 students were put in school

The Amani international academy was birthed
